The costs
The costs

It is our experience that paragliding trips are quite expensive in Europe. Go and do some cross country flying with a pilot who is familiar in for instance Switzerland and you'll end up a couple of hundred euros / dollars poorer. Most of the time it leaves you with the feeling that you could have easily done it yourself! Add to that the unpredictability of european wheather and you have enough reasons for a paragliding headache.

Our trips in India are different. The country is relatively cheap compared to Western standards, so our prices can be lower as well. The wheather is fantastic - every day! We offer a lot more flying, a lot more adventure and a lot more culture for less money. And the real advantage is that everything has been arranged for: transport from/to the airport, transport to the take-off, information about the take-off, hotels, etc. India is not a country like Switzerland where things can be arranged yourself quite easily. If you do want to arrange everything yourself this will guarantee even more adventure, but you will have to take twice as long a holiday...... and you can better spend this time flying in the Himalayas!

Price

We recommend you to bring over cash dollars or traveller cheques and to change them at the airport in New Delhi into Indian rupees, since changing money in and around Bir-Billing can be a problem. An amount of 100 dollars will be more than enough to finance any excursions. For all your meals, expect to spend somewhere between 4 - 7 dollars a day.
